Mission

The mission of the Nevada Board of Dispensing Opticians is to protect the public’s health, safety, and welfare by effectively regulating the practice of Opticianry.

Funding

The Board is funded from license fees collected from opticians and apprentice opticians.  The Board does not receive funds from the State General fund.
